But in order to get to the Russian Federation as a tourist, not as part of a tourist group of 5 to 50 people (there is a visa-free regime for them. See the relevant section) it is important to apply for a tourist visa. We will tell you simply and clearly how to do it.

A tourist visa (OT) is issued on the basis of a properly executed contract for the provision of tourist services and the presence of a confirmation of the reception of a foreign tourist by an organization carrying out tour operator activities.This tourist invitation can be obtained from any registered tour operator.

The invitation consists of:
- a tourist voucher;
- a confirmation of reception of a tourist.
The visa is valid for up to 1 month. Such a visa can be single or double entry.

What is included in the price of a tourist visa?
- Invitation to Russia. The price depends on the company that issues the invitation and costs ≈ 1000 rubles (≈15$$)
- Insurance (according to the law, insurance is a mandatory component of your trip, regardless of the purpose or type of visa).
- Consular fee
Tourist visa service is provided up to 20 days.
